The Main Mission of Grace Valley Baptist Church is to Glorify God.
The modern churches have missed that point. There are primaries and secondaries in everything, and Jesus says in Matthew 22:37- 40, “…Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.“
God always comes first, and humanity comes second. However, in our modern world, we have reversed the roles and put humanity first and God second. The main mission of any church should be to glorify God, and the second should be to reach humanity. That’s our mission at Grace Valley Baptist Church.
Why We Use the King James Version
Our mission is to glorify God, and we believe diluting His Word will not honor Him or uphold the truth. That’s why we stand firmly on the King James Version of the Bible. The KJV has been a trusted and time-honored translation for over 400 years, preserving the majesty, beauty, and doctrinal integrity of God’s Word. Unlike modern translations that often paraphrase or omit key passages, the KJV remains faithful to the original texts, ensuring that we receive God’s message in its purest form. By using the KJV, we seek to uphold the authority of Scripture, maintain sound doctrine, and pass on the unchanging Word of God to future generations.
